In this class we will look into several excerpts from the Old Testament, and look into the lives of some of the prophets of God. These men risked everything to send God's specific messages to each intended audience. In this interactive discussion we will observe the history that led up to each event, measure the response of those that heard the message, and share the impact that these stories should have on our lives today as Christians. As we focus on some events in the lives of Nathan, Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel, we will notice the character of God revealed to a people who continually let him down.
I encourage you to read and study much more than the texts I have included in the study guide. Wikipedia searches on each of these characters can also yield some good insights.
