Praise Period and Lord's Supper

The Canyon “praise period” is a spirited time of praise worship including congregational singing, prayer, scripture reading, and a brief talk about what Jesus has done for us on the cross of Calvary. Its purpose is to bring us to the cross with a blend of contemporary songs and older hymns/psalms along with words that encourage us to celebrate the eating of the Lord’s Supper, the central focus of our gathering together every Sunday.

We truly strive during this time period to honor the words of Jesus, "Do this in remembrance of me."
